    Here’s a tip for those of us with a bad case of ‘songwriters block.’ Try to write in third person, rather than first. It can seem a bit awkward at first, but you can take the same subject you’ve been writing about, put it in a different context this way, and wind up with something that seems much fresher to your ears.
