    Songwriters fall prey to writer’s block quite easily. It’s the nature of the beast. As you’re already well aware, there are only so many chords and notes out there with which to work. But as bad as writer’s block may be, it is much, much worse to be suffering from what I call ‘song sameness.’ This is when a writer just keeps rewriting the same song over and over and over and over and over again.
