Market direction is important, as is having contact information available to you. Every songwriter, composer, lyricist, performing songwriter, singer, group, musician, artiste etc needs to know how to contact music publishers, record companies, management companies, music industry personnel, recording artistes etc. You can do your own research, or you can use the services of a music attorney. These are people who make their living from their contacts music industry, and it’s a reasonable trade-off in term of money they take from you and the time and effort they save you.
