The term Arrangement refers to the final shape that the song will take, where it’s loud, where it’s soft, where the instrumental part comes in and where it ‘lays out.’ At the demo stage, the arrangement is important because this is your chance to demonstrate how you, the songwriter envision the final version of the song. How you arrange the song can be used as an indicator of the marketplace that you are targeting.
