  • Songwriter Tip:

Here’s a tip on the final stage of the songwriting process, the demo. Many songwriters feel that it is important that they sing on their demo, as they ore the person who wrote the song, therefore they are the one who has the greatest understanding of the emotion and ‘soul’ of the song. However, unless you are a trained vocalist, beware, as the level of demos in the professional world is extremely polished. It may be better to sacrifice a bit of the emotion and feel in exchange for the technique of a professional.
