    Keep the music and lyrics every time you decide not to use a song. You may often find a use for it later when your skill has improved. Periodically review all the songs you wrote and tossed aside. You may find a few riffs and ideas that you came up with years ago that re-spark your imagination. Usually when you reconstruct these old nuggets, the resulting new songs are much better than their predecessors.
