Songwriter Tip:

Never delete your songs. Especially, never delete unfinished ideas that never quite evolved into a song. You never know when you could use that idea later down the line. The important thing that you are preserving is the idea, not the actual notes. Maybe a year from now, when you’re stuck on your newest song, you’ll go over an old riff that you never used and found that if you just changed a couple of things, it would fit perfectly in your new song. Not only that, you may find that you can finish those songs later because your songwriting (or musicianship) skills have improved. Don’t delete old songs. Even if you think they suck.
