  • Songwriter Tip:

Here’s a tip to help you begin to learn to write for films. Find a movie that you really enjoy, that you really get into. Rent the movie and put it into your VCR. Turn the sound off and run the film with only the pictures to inspire you. Try putting a towel over the face of the TV and listen to only the soundtrack. Be sure to have a notebook and pen when you do this. If nothing comes to you, don’t give up. Get a different movie and try again.
